Bench-Top Charge Photometer
illumion illumionONE
illumionONE is a standalone, compact bench-top charge photometer that offers real-time, operando imaging of the state-of-charge and morphology of battery materials at the particle level. This capability allows users to directly observe individual battery particles while the battery cell is actively operating, using optical interference reflection imaging to detect the light scattered by individual particles across an electrode.
An electrode stack is assembled into an optically accessible coin cell and then mounted on to the illumionONE. By using the included acquisition and analysis software users can define electrochemical test protocols, control the system's integrated potentiostat, and analyze charge photometry data alongside synchronized electrochemistry data.
