uantum Design was excited to join with CSU San Marcos and co-sponsor Lake Shore Cryotronics to celebrate the grand opening of the Teaching and Materials Discovery Lab. The ribbon cutting ceremony was preceded by symposium presentations on the importance of teaching physics to undergraduate students using modern, research-grade instruments, and followed by an instrument demonstration by Lake Shore. There were more than 70 attendees at the event, including staff and students from CSU San Marcos, alumni of the Physics Department program, Quantum Design employees, and various other supporters of the Education Initiative.
