his month, Quantum Design China held its seventh annual users' seminar at the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing. October 10th is the centenary of the academician Chaosheng Hong, one of the pioneers of cryogenic physics and cryogenic technology research in China. Many presentations on Quantum Design's history and development of scientific instruments were provided. In addition, Shaokui Su, the senior engineer at the Institute of Physics CAS, gave a report titled "The experience of sharing as a public technical service personnel," and Jie Yuan, the chief engineer, shared his experience on "Some extensions and applications of the PPMS system." Many experts were invited to discuss the frontier topics of material research and measurement for the promotion of the development of magnetic measurement technology. The seminar was attended by more than 150 visitors from top research universities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Institute of Semiconductor CAS, and Nankai University.
